The Office of the Fire Marshall, Saugeen Shores Fire and Police remained on the scene of fire in Port Elgin Monday.
Police say an explosion was involved in the blaze that broke out Sunday evening at 560 Ivings Drive.
Police say the two buildings closest to the complex remain evacuated.
Victim Services of Bruce Grey Perth and the Red Cross continue to assist displaced residents.
Police said Monday, an injured man who escaped the fire remains in critical condition at the London Health Sciences Burn Unit.
They’re asking people to avoid the area to allow investigators to conduct their work safely.
