Saugeen Shores residents will be able to have their say on playground equipment upgrades at a number of parks in Port Elgin.
Town staff say proposals have been reviewed from suppliers and options narrowed down for new playground equipment at Nodwell Park, Waterloo Park, JH Robertson Park and Summerside Park.
The town is now turning to the community to help choose the playground equipment for these four parks in Port Elgin, and has launched an online survey.
It will be open until Aug. 15.
“We have an active community in Saugeen Shores. How our parks and playgrounds are designed should reflect the community,” says Mayor Luke Charbonneau. “Having an online survey is a great way for residents to have their say on the playground equipment they would most like to see.”
According to a release from the Town of Saugeen Shores, preferred designs will be announced at council and online prior to the start of construction this fall.
