The Paisley Rotary Club is announcing they’re donating $50,000 over the next three years toward the town’s new splash pad.
The first $20,000 of the donation was given to the town on Tuesday.
Current Rotary Club president Colin MacDonald says they’re happy to help.
“A lot of things are happening in Paisley with the natural gas [development] coming in, and new families coming in. We thought it was a great idea to put this forward.”
The project is expected to start construction in September.
“The splash pad has already been approved by the town. The shovels are going into the ground in September, and the splash pad committee is working on getting more donations.”
The splash pad is set to be open to the public in 2023.
