As of today, the Wiarton boat launch is closed until November.
A release from the Town says the closure is in place for the completion of necessary repairs and improvements to the breakwall.

Lions Head – 1 Bruin St, Lion’s Head
The Town explains the rubble breakwall will be repaired as well as the walkway leading to the pier at Bluewater Park.
They say the breakwall repair work is a federal project undertaken by the Department of Fisheries and Oceans.
Outside of that, the Town says it will be installing a new walkway on top of the breakwall which will also have new lighting.
