The Town of South Bruce Peninsula is getting ready for Groundhog Day.
On February 2nd, they’ll start the day with fireworks at 7 am, followed by Wiarton Willie’s prediction at 8:07 in the parking lot at Wiarton Arena.
There will also be Festival Events happening on Saturday, February 4th.
From 10 am to 4 pm at Bluewater Park, Festival Events include (but are not limited to):
– Trackless train
– Axe-throwing trailer
– Game Asylum video gaming trailer
– Full-court press basketball
– Boom blasters
Mayor Garry Michi says that he’s been practicing his Groundhogese, and is looking forward to his first meeting with Wiarton Willie.
