A South Bruce Peninsula man has won the lottery.
A release from the OLG says Zbigniew Denejka won a LOTTO 6/49 second prize worth $165,105 in the June 21st draw.
Denejka, a 69-year-old father of two, says he’s been playing the lottery for 30 years.
According to the OLG, the retiree checked his numbers on OLG.ca and discovered he had won, saying, “I checked them again and again,” and adding, “I was so surprised and happy!”
Denejka says when he shared the exciting news with his wife, “She was overjoyed.”
He says, “I’m glad I got to experience that moment with her.”
With his winnings, Denejka plans to complete some home renovations. “This money is going to be very helpful. I still can’t believe my luck!” he concluded.
The winning ticket was purchased at Starsky Fine Foods on Dundas Street West in Mississauga.
