Saugeen Shores council has received its statement of remuneration.
The annual report outlines what each council member was paid and the expenses they claimed.
In 2023, Town councillors’ pay ranged from roughly $22,000 for some members to $29,000 for the Deputy Mayor and about $42,000 for the Mayor.
Council members who sit on committees or boards make additional pay for that work.
Expenses claimed by council members ranged from $0 to about $4,500.
