Some final restoration work on the Paisley Bridge will be affecting traffic this week.
Between April 29th and May 3rd, there will be alternating lane closures on the bridge, which spans the Teeswater River along Bruce Road 3.
The new bridge officially on November 3rd after Bruce County had to replace the previous version of the bridge was replaced after it reached the end of its lifespan.
The bridge will still be open for vehicular and pedestrian use while the minor works are completed.
Businesses will not be affected during the work.
The new bridge allows for more river flow clearance and has a service life of about 75 years. The old Teeswater Bridge was built in 1935.
