The 36th McDonald’s Owen Sound Salmon Spectacular is officially underway.
Thousands of anglers are arriving in the Owen Sound area for the annual fishing derby, which runs until Sept. 1.
The derby opened at exactly 12:01 a.m. this morning (Friday), while the weigh station at Georgian Shores Marina will open for the first time at 10 a.m.
