One person was taken to hospital after a fire in Port Elgin.
Police say, on February 20th, at approximately 3:55 p.m. Saugeen Shores they were dispatched alongside paramedics and firefighters to a report of a fire at a residential address in the 300 block of Bricker Street.
They were able to extract an woman from the second story of the home. She was transported by Paramedics to Hospital for further medical assessment.
They say no other people were located within the home.
Police note, at this time the fire is not considered suspicious. They did not say what the cause of the blaze may have been.
