Bruce County and the Western Ontario Wardens’ Caucus want to hear from local businesses about the impact of tariffs on trade between Canada and the United States.
There is a survey they are asking local businesses to fill out.
It asks about business size and sector and what per cent of your business will be impacted by tariffs on trade with the United States. The survey asks how tariffs are impacting your business, if you’ve considered any action in response to them, for example adjusting prices or sourcing alternative markets, if you’ve reduced your workforce or looked for government support.
It asks what kind of support would be most beneficial whether that’s direct financial relief, tax relief measures or more trade negotiations.
It wants to know if you’ve had supply chain disruptions, what your long-term strategies might be and what kind of support from Bruce County would be most helpful to you.
Bruce County’s economic development department has resources businesses may find helpful on its website.
Their team can be reached at info@businesstobruce.com or at 1-800-268-3838.
