It’s all part of a Master Transportation review that’s taking place right now in Saugeen Shores, involving primarily parking and speed limits.
Director of Infrastructure and Development Amanda Froese, speaking to council on August 9th, says they’re looking at banning parking on both sides of Huron Street, from South Street, north to Albert Street, which is a short section of road that leads to Cole Boulevard.
In addition, parking on both sides of South Street for beach-goers is proposed to come to an end with parking only on the south side of the street and no parking on the north side.
Council has approved passing an updated parking bylaw, however residents have until Friday, September 3rd to add their comments before a bylaw is developed.
