Arran-Elderslie council has approved a draft plan for a 32-unit subdivision in Paisley.
It’s called the Ardent subdivision and would consist of 16 semi-detached dwellings for a total of 32 units at North Street in the north end of town.
The lots will be situated along a cul-de-sac and will be connected to municipal water and sewer.
A public meeting on the proposal was held back October.
Council approved the draft plan for the subdivision.
Arran-Elderslie CAO Sylvia Kirkwood says next steps are for the applicant to work through draft plan conditions before they enter into an subdivision agreement.
Kirkwood says the process will take some time and it might be fall before construction starts.
