A big 150th anniversary celebration is set to go this weekend in Paisley.
“We have so much stuff going on, starting Friday evening, running Saturday and Sunday,” says Parade Chairperson Karen Beech-McCullough.
It’s all happening at 293 James Street.
Friday’s activities include a volleyball tournament, live entertainment starts at 6 p.m. with Lance Eckensweiler at the Palace in Paisley followed by an open-air dance on the ball diamond with the Adam Cousins Band. There’s an outdoor family movie night at the library.
Saturday includes a Paisley firefighter breakfast, artists on the river and the Paisley 150th parade is set to go from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
There will be food trucks, beer gardens and a vendors market as well as a classic car show, volleyball tournament, historic walking tours, cake and an Ag Society barbecue dinner.
Kerosene Creek will play the open air dance Saturday night.
Sunday’s events include a Paisley Masons breakfast, family fun zone, gospel music jam session, vendors and a cornhole tournament.
