Nathan Villeneuve and Quentin Musty each had four points as the Sudbury Wolves cruised past the Owen Sound Attack 8-1 in Ontario Hockey League action Friday evening at Sudbury Community Arena.
Villeneuve and Jack Ziliotto each scored twice for Sudbury (26-23-5), while Chase Coughlan, Henry Mews, Lucas Di Giantommaso and Ondrej Molnar added singles.
Cole Zurawski scored the lone goal for Owen Sound (19-30-4-3).
Sudbury pulled away with five goals in the second period.
The Attack fell one point behind the Soo Greyhounds (22-32-1-1) for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference, as Soo picked up a win over Guelph.
