Campaign chair Trevor Wardrop says the money raised is used to purchase much need medical equipment for the facility.
Wardrop hopes to raise 50 thousand dollars this year.
He notes this year they’re looking to buy four pieces of equipment that will analyze various fluids in the body that will tell medical personnel whether or not there is a problem for anyone.
Wardrop says this year’s goal is less than what was realized last year when 70 thousand dollars was raised to purchase a state-of-the-art ultra sound machine.
The campaign usually goes until the the middle of January.
