Longy and Bruffer are the morning show on the all-new 97.9 the Bruce, weekdays from 6-10am. We’re really, really sorry in advance for whatever they say or do on the show.

We found Longy living in the abandoned house next to the station. It was raining, and cold… he’d been out there for three days… I mean what were we supposed to do? Just leave him out there? Yeah, in retrospect, that was probably the best idea. But we brought him inside, he made a nest in the studio, and now we just can’t get him out of there. On the bright side, he seems to scare off the other predators and keeps the station totally mice-free.

Bruffer won a contest to be on the radio when he was 8. He was the only entry, so he won by default but they gave the award to him anyway. He’s been couch surfing from radio station to radio station ever since, and somehow ended up here (we think Longy left the door unlocked one night). If you’re related to Bruffer, please STOP calling us. The class action lawsuit is being handled by the law offices of Murphy, Taylor, and McMaster in Strathroy. If you’re NOT related to Bruffer, well, then, congratulations and welcome to the area.

If you wanted to hear more of them for some reason, they also host the Saturday Night Bush Party from 8pm-midnight. It’s on Saturdays, like it says in the name.
